Private Residence

The scope for this residence was to transform an 80’s home on an elevated site which captures significant views of the Swan River, Indian Ocean, City skyline and the Eastern foothills. The site holds a significant height variation in the topography and is a split level residence which adds to the design challenge.

Empire is striving to make this home design their most energy efficient home to date. The use of the sun for power generation, the wind for summer cooling and Rain water harvesting have all been considered in the design process.

The striking design is a credit to our designers, the team has collaborated with suppliers in the material and finish selection process not only using sustainable products but also working on minimising waste. This project is in final design stages.

I would like to give a review from a different point of view. Empire HAS NOT BUILT FOR ME. Empire have built my neighbours (3). They are stunning! The new owners are over the moon. I am going to tell you about the behind the senses stuff. The stuff that matters. I will share my observations and experience gained by living in a street that a number of new homes constructed in the last 8 years.During construction, I was very impressed with their whole process. All of their trades were respectful and very polite. We live in a family area, I did not hear once any swearing or foul language. The building sites and surrounding areas were always kept neat and clean. There was never any material or rubbish blowing around. Just about every day there were works happening? Construction and fitting off just kept rolling. There was a real sense of organised works. People moved in, all spoke highly of their new homes.As you do with any build you need to get the builder back to attend to items. They could not speak more highly of Andre. Nothing was too much trouble. Often Andre would attend rectification works, taking an overseeing role to supervise the trades to wear gloves, remove shoes, put down protection material and clean up afterwards. All matters were promptly attended to. When I build I will go straight to them, without hesitation. A company need to impress me before I give a review Empires sets very high standards through evidence of actions and continues to care about their clients.
